My understanding of artistic space has changed greatly during this unit. Since our first activity (point perspective) to the one above (forced perspective,) I've learned that it's possible and easy to make a 2D space to appear to be 3D, and about how important negative space is in a drawing.
Pinterest was used to help plan my drawings.
The most helpful exercise we did was one of the first. Learning and practicing point perspective are things I've wanted to do for a while, and now that I have, my drawings will be more accurate. Before knowing about this, I could only draw people standing in front of a flat wall.
My final project is far too blurry in the image. If I had re-outlined the characters, they would have looked clearer, but more fake. I sort of stuck myself in a corner, there. My shading was a bit off as well, but besides that, everything in this project turned out like I wanted it to. I feel like I've mastered point perspective drawing!
